Good Fishing Lakes Leelanau, Glen, Little Traverse, Lime, School and Bass lakes

Kettle Lakes are lakes formed when the glaciers receded and left chuchks of ice in recesses and pockets in the ground.
Deepest lake is Big Glen Lake @ 130 + ft
Next deepest lake North Lake Leelanau at 121 ft.
Shallowest Lake is Duck Lake at 5 ft Little Glen and South Bar Lake come in at about 13 ft
Most remote Lake Manitou Lake on North Manitou Island
Lake with the longest name is Little Traverse Lake
Ok shorest name lakes! Mud Lake, Leg Lake and Bar Lake
Northern - most Lake - Mud Lake north of Woolsey Memorial airport -in Leelanau Twp (Northport area)
